Selection of only high quality raw material and traditional production methods allow to leave the outer layer of peas, which is a valuable source of nutrients, untouched. Peas contain a lot of vegetable proteins vitamins, B vitamins, a lot of minerals - potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, iodine.
Split peas are used in army cuisine, gastronomy and home cooking.
Peas can be used in many dishes. The most popular is pea soup, peas with cabbage. It is also an excellent addition to salads, croquettes and vegetable pies.
Split peas should be boiled in triple amount of water for about 30 min.
For the first 15 min peas should be boiled without the lid on the pot.
